Must read piece by Marc Sheppard on "hide the decline"

Many commentators have not understood the Phil Jones “hide the decline” email. It does not refer to hiding the decline in global temperature since 1998, it refers to hiding the divergence from measured temperature of tree ring proxies. Read this excellent treatment by Marc Sheppard (excerpt below):
